  • COPYWRITING & ONLINE LITERATURE

One of the #1 areas that many businesses, artists, and personalities fail to maximize is effective language in their online marketing. Making things clear, concise, and strategic is critical. Whether it is something as short as an elevator pitch or as long as a digital guide or comprehensive proposal, this can be the difference between winning an audience or deterring them.

Copywriting & Online literature can include any form of digital representation of your business such as:

  • Website Literature

  • Blog Posts or Social Media Captions

  • EPK or Business Brochure

  • Service Proposals or Packages

  • Client Guides

  • Automated Emails

  • Ad Marketing Literature

  • BRAND STRATEGY & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Brand strategy begins with knowing what you sell or provide and who you want to provide or sell to. Though many of my skills are based in visual arts, in order for any visual content to be effective, there must be strategy. When I begin the process of any visual content for a client, I sit down and dive into the gritty details with them. I pinpoint where they are currently most effective and the areas that marketing can help strengthen their online customer experience to produce growth. Every piece of content designed from there adheres to company philosophy, strategy, and goals to be more than just something pretty to look at or show off to your audience. They are strategic in being another tool to capture your target audience or market.

FAQ

+ GET TO KNOW SAVANNAH +

  • My career originally began as a young adult in the Los Angeles Music Industry where I worked for 10 years as an electric bassist & touring musician. In 2018, I moved to Nashville, TN where I flourished as a working musician until the 2020 Pandemic Season. When all the world was at a standstill, live music and touring work dissolved. During this time, I picked up a camera to keep myself creative. With prior experience dabbling in various visual arts, I decided to practice Photography as an experiment.

During this time, close friends and local businesses I supported were struggling to transition their services or products online to sustain their income, so I began helping them build their digital platforms to reach new markets and help them thrive during the Stay At Home Orders.

Helping others through creativity, structure, and strategy became so fascinating to me because the businesses I worked with were so versatile and unique. I began broadening my skill set in web design and graphic design in order to be more equipped to serve my clients. From there, I pushed myself to take on a myriad of projects which quickly became a full time business!

  • A Digital Storyteller, as I define it, it someone who builds digital assets that compel online audiences to trust or invest in the unique story or differentiating aspects that a business or person has to offer. I like to use the example of a hairdresser. Everyone is a hairdresser, I can name quite a few off the top of my head, but how do you find the one that is right for you? Usually this decision comes down to trust and customer experience. My favorite hairdresser in Nashville is a decent drive and I pass at least 15-20 salons on my way to support and give business to the particular hairdresser I love. The same goes for the plumber, the mechanic, the business advisor, and many other services I choose. The questions I like to ask my clients is: “Why you? Why should someone choose you over the competitor? What makes you different and how are you presenting those key factors in your online content? How are you establishing yourself in your industry?”. By answering those questions, they are building a story or compelling reasons why they are more than the face value their product or service.

The quality and experience of their online presence should be built no different everyday through posts and micro doses of sharing your story via digital platforms everyday. My purpose as a Digital Storyteller is to help those who don’t have the tools or the time accomplish this to propel their business forward.

  • Being someone that offers multiple services, my creative process is often tailored to accommodate the specific needs of individual clients or projects.

No matter what genre or combination of services are required, I always work 1:1 with clients and start by familiarizing myself with their business or mission. Before I even start the creative process, I prioritize research of a client or business, invite them to initial planning meetings, and take time to really understand their objectives for their ideal market. I build a file with extensive notes on key elements that differentiate my clients from their competitors, perform a digital platform audit, and collaborate with them to create a Scope Of Work for their individual projects.

Once the Research & Planning is done, it allows me to create intentional content for my clients, whether it’s photographs, a customized site, or graphics. The initial steps lay a foundation for me to craft effective materials and service structure that provide results for clients with ease.

  • Challenges are a part of life, but even more so apart of the learning process for creatives and entrepreneurs alike. The creative challenges often require more learning, experiments, and accepting that no matter how much expertise someone holds, they will be refining their process and adapting. I believe the same is true in my work; I don’t know everything about everything, but I am confident that my experience is vital and challenges are necessary to continue advancing my creativity for my clients.
